Why families switch to us
In our last 122 shifts, 1 worker failed to arrive on the day.
1 July – 5 August 2026. Figures current as at 5 August 2026.
Wherever we can, it's the same person every time — so you're not explaining the routine to a stranger each week.
We write your care plan for you, with you — built around your NDIS goals, for a truly personalised whole-of-person approach (opens in a new tab).
How it works
- Tell us what you need
Two short questions first — no contact details until you are ready. Takes about a minute.
About a minute - We match workers and call you
We look at who is available near you, who fits what you have asked for, and ring you to talk it through.
Called back within 2 hours, weekdays 9am–5pm - Support starts
You meet the worker before anything begins. If they are not right, you say so and we find someone else.
First shift usually within 5 days
Tell us who you'd feel comfortable with
Two quick questions first. No contact details until the second step.
Questions families ask us
Does this come out of my NDIS budget?
Yes. Help around the house, personal care and community access are paid from the Core Supports part of an NDIS plan. There is no separate fee to you and nothing to pay out of pocket. We bill the NDIS at the standard NDIS price, and we will tell you what each shift costs before it starts.
We are plan-managed / self-managed / agency-managed — can we still use you?
All three work. If you are plan-managed, we invoice your plan manager and you do nothing. If you are self-managed, we invoice you and you claim it back through the myplace portal. If you are NDIA-managed (agency-managed), you need a registered provider — SESI is registered, provider number 4050144347, so that is covered too.
Can we choose the worker?
Yes, and we would rather you did. Before anything starts we introduce you to the workers we think fit, and you meet them first. You can ask for a female or male worker, and we will match for language and culture where we can. If someone is not right for you, you tell us and we find someone else — you do not need a reason.
What if we do not click with the worker?
Tell us and we change them. No awkward conversation with the worker, no explanation needed, and it does not affect your service. Say it to the office and we sort it. Getting this right matters more to us than getting it fast.
How quickly can support actually start?
We aim to call you back within 2 hours on a weekday, and to have the first shift running within about 5 days. If it is going to take longer in your suburb we will say so on that first call rather than let you wait and wonder.
Our current provider has a notice period. What do we do?
Most service agreements ask for two weeks written notice, though it varies. Check your agreement, or send it to us and we will read it with you. You do not have to leave before we start — we can begin some shifts while the old arrangement winds down, so there is no gap where nobody turns up.
Do your workers speak languages other than English?
Many do. Our team between them speaks a range of languages, and when you tell us which one matters we will look for a match in your area first. If we cannot match the language we will say so honestly rather than send someone and hope.
Who actually comes to the house?
A support worker employed and screened by us — NDIS Worker Screening Check, police check, first aid, and references. Wherever possible it is the same worker every time, because having a different stranger each week is the thing families tell us they cannot stand.
