Areas we serve

NDIS support across Cardinia Shire

From the growth corridor to the hills to the farmland in the south east. Three quite different places, and support works differently in each.

Three different places with one council

Cardinia is not one kind of area. The corridor along the highway from Beaconsfield through Officer to Pakenham is fast growing, well connected and served by the train line. The hills around Emerald and Cockatoo are a twenty minute drive that feels like an hour. The south and east, out past Koo Wee Rup toward Lang Lang, is farmland with small townships and very little public transport. What is easy to arrange in one is genuinely hard in another.

What that means when you are choosing a provider

The further out you are, the more likely it is that a provider who says yes has not thought about how they will actually staff it. Travel time is real: a worker who spends fifty minutes driving to a one hour shift is a roster problem waiting to happen, and roster problems land on you as cancellations. Ask any provider how many of their workers live in Cardinia, and what happens to your shift when that person is unwell. A provider who has thought about it will have an answer. A provider who has not will talk about their values.

Transport is the underrated part of a plan out here

Public transport in the shire thins out fast away from the Pakenham line, and appointments, work, study and shopping are often not walkable. For a lot of people in Cardinia the transport component of a plan is what decides whether the rest of it is usable. It is worth raising specifically at your next plan reassessment rather than treating it as a detail.

Cardinia suburbs and townships

The shire, grouped the way it actually works

Being on this list means the place is in Cardinia Shire. It is not a guarantee that we can roster a worker there this week, and out past the corridor that distinction matters. Call and ask.

Along the highway and the Pakenham line. Where most of the shire lives.

Beaconsfield, Officer, Officer South, Pakenham, Pakenham Upper, Rythdale, Cardinia, Guys Hill

The hills

Steep, wooded and spread out. Travel time is the constraint here, not distance.

Emerald, Cockatoo, Gembrook, Avonsleigh, Clematis, Menzies Creek, Upper Beaconsfield, Dewhurst

The rural south and east

Farmland and small townships. Fewer providers will send anyone at all.

Koo Wee Rup, Lang Lang, Bunyip, Garfield, Tynong, Nar Nar Goon, Maryknoll, Catani, Iona, Vervale, Athlone, Yannathan, Caldermeade, Monomeith, Heath Hill, Modella

Common questions

Do you provide NDIS supports in Cardinia Shire?

We are a registered NDIS provider based in Narre Warren, just outside the shire boundary, and we deliver in-person supports across Victoria. Whether we can reliably cover your particular days and times is a question we will answer on the phone rather than assume on a web page, especially in the hills and the rural east.

How far out do you go?

Ask us. The corridor from Beaconsfield to Pakenham is straightforward. Emerald, Cockatoo, Koo Wee Rup and Lang Lang depend on the support, the hours and the day. We would rather tell you no on the first call than cancel on you in week three.

Are you a registered provider?

Yes. Registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, provider number 4050144347, ABN 47 672 963 405. That means we are audited against the NDIS Practice Standards and NDIA-managed plans can use us.

What supports do you offer?

Core Supports: personal care, household tasks, transport, community access and building daily living skills. Support coordination and recovery coaching run by phone and video and are available anywhere in Australia, which for parts of Cardinia is a practical advantage.

What do you not offer?

No supported independent living or accommodation-based supports, no short term respite or accommodation, and no plan management.

Ready when you are

Tell us where you are

Especially if you are in the hills or out past Koo Wee Rup. We will tell you honestly what we can and cannot cover before you sign anything.
